Severinstorburg

The »Severinstor« (gate) forms the entrance to Severinsstraße.

The trapezium-shaped tower on the gate entrance was subsequently added several centuries after the construction of the lower part (end of 12th century). In the 15th century, the cannon chambers were added. Today, the »Severinstor« is used by all kinds of celebrations.
