Rhein-Kreis Neuss

In keeping with this guests can experience their own personal climbing adventure from spring to autumn in Germany’s largest freestanding abseiling course and on Europe’s highest artificial outdoor climbing wall. Castle Dyck

The moated castle of Dyck with its several upstream fortifications and a distinguished ­English landscape garden ranks among the Rhineland’s most important cultural monuments. The castle rooms provide a truly special ambiance for private festivities as well as for conventions and conferences.

Zons

The historic fort town of Zons, founded in the 14th century, takes visitors back to medieval times with its towers and ancient alleys. The district museum is on the grounds of the former state fort of Friedstrom and includes in its collection Europe’s biggest art nouveau tin collection as well as textile works. It also shows regular, changing exhibitions on art and cultural history. The open-air stage, built more than 70 years ago, offers a varied programme ranging from pantomime and musicals to operettas and rock concerts.
